KLOMPER Events LLC

Privacy policy

Version 1.2 · Effective September 3, 2026

Klomper (“Klomper,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. The Klomper website and events are operated by KLOMPER EVENTS LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you visit klomperrace.com, join a waitlist, request training information, or register for an event.

Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, age confirmation, division interest, team information, registration details, and communication preferences. When you register for a paid event, our payment provider processes payment information; Klomper does not store full payment-card numbers.

We may also receive basic technical information when you use the website, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referral source, and approximate location. This technical information may be collected through our website hosting and analytics tools.

We use randomly generated browser and session identifiers to understand the steps people take from visiting the site through registration and payment. These identifiers are not created from your name, email address, payment details, or IP address. The browser identifier and first referral information may be stored in your browser so visits can be measured consistently; the session identifier lasts for the browser session.

How we use information

  • manage event waitlists, registrations, divisions, and participant communications;
  • provide requested training information;
  • send event, registration, and training updates when you have agreed to receive them;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and events;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Klomper, including website hosting, database, email, customer-relationship management, payment, and analytics providers. Our service providers include Cloudflare, Supabase, GoHighLevel, Stripe, and Resend. We do not sell personal information.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or property, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, accounting, safety, and event-record requirements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online system is completely secure.

Your choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in an email. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions. Transactional messages about an event registration may still be sent when necessary to provide the service you requested.

Children and participant age

Klomper is not directed to children under 14. Participation in the timed race is limited to people who will be at least 14 on race day. Participants under 18 may take part only when a parent or legal guardian accepts the KLOMPER Event Waiver on their behalf, and registration information about participants under 18 must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the revised version and update its effective date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or a website notice when appropriate.
